The 18-second teaser little information about the title, but confirms a 2024 release.

What do we know about Assetto Corsa Evo so far?

Few details have been revealed about Assetto Corsa Evo, other than it is a sequel to 2013’s Assetto Corsa, the first game in the series.

Assetto Corsa Evo will be released on PC, with a console release on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S coming in the ‘long-term’, according to a 2023 financial report from Digital Bros, the parent company of Kunos Simulazioni and publisher 505 Games.

That same financial report projected a release date prior to July 2024, though it’s unknown if this is still the plan.

What does this mean for Assetto Corsa and ACC?

Assetto Corsa remains one of the most popular sim racing titles, thanks in large part to the game’s open attitude to mods and user-generated content. It’s unlikely to fall out of favour anytime soon, especially as it is not yet known if the same open approach to mods will be carried into Assetto Corsa Evo.

Assetto Corsa Competizione, a GT3-based title first released in 2019, is still receiving regular updates. The Nurburgring Nordschleife became available via a DLC pack on April 1st, just one day prior to the first Assetto Corsa Evo teaser.

Are you excited for the release of Assetto Corsa Evo? What are you expecting from the title? Do you think it will include the same mod support as Assetto Corsa? Let us know in the comments below.
